The Stewart Super Six Pack presented by...MTBNJ

Unless you name is BikenBen. Add another six hours to it and give him a rigid singlespeed. Like a damn cycling robot. 🙂

what, have you been living in a cave up there? ben went to the dark side...he has gears AND a fork now...

Raystown is the bee's knees, but I'd rather ride there when there isn't a thousand other people riding.

Ditto on that.. way to many people on tight fast flowing single track. Plus a shuttle to the fun stuff at night. It will be alot more fun on another weekend J.

Basic questions:

1: What category should a beginner older than 45 register in ( and why )? Prizes will not be a factor for me ( sloooooow ).

2: How does the race end ( after 6 hours when the leader crosses the finish line, the race ends for others as the come around? ) and do lapped folks get dropped mid-race?

Feel free to direct me to a FAQ.

thanks

If prizes are not a factor then it doesn't matter what class you race in(there are really fast guys in both cat's....but I would race 45+. If its not a mass start the 45 + guys are like you...looking to have fun and not kill yourself. If its a mass start it can be mayhem for the start but then it will settle down.

Everyone races for 6 hrs. If you make it past a designated point in under 6hrs. you may start another lap. The leaders will have more then 6 hrs. of racing time at the end of the race.

For example if you come through the gate at 5:59hrs. and you did 5 laps you are allowed to do another lap.
If you come through the gate at 6:01hrs. and you did 5 laps you may not start another lap.
You cannot start another lap after the 6hr. mark.

Good luck we're all counting on you.😉

What class question#2... moving up to cat1 this year so open class? If they start in front then thats less traffic for lap1 which worked well for the mass start at CP.

Now we just need to sell it out.

Did I mention food, beer, pint glasses, and shirts for all racers? Also working on some other small swag and prizes to give away.
