The bottom line is it's fine if they reassess everyone at the same time. That way "theoretically" the values change but the rate changes proportionately. This happened in my township a few years ago. The problem comes if they do it on a rolling or partial basis, then you have the potential to get screwed.My property is assessed at half its market value. Unclear if my "senior benefits" will save me if they value it at market price. 5 years and no revaluation yet.
