Things that make you frown :(

Large shops that sell BOA equipment will also usually have a "rescue kit" for them, since BOA provides a lifetime warranty on all the parts.

That said, usually only large corporate stores that focus on repair/service (so Ski Barn and REI...). If you're near a shop that sells your product, it's always worth it to call and ask.

If you didn't know, cycling equipment usually uses "L" dials for cheaper stuff, and "Li" dials for expensive. "L" only tightens one way, "Li" allows fine adjustment in both directions.

Parking my new to me car as far away form any other car in the Stop&Shop parking lot, retuning the shopping cart to the corral on the opposite side of said parking lot only for the wind to start pushing it until it hits the rear passenger door of my car...now I have a big dent and some exposed metal, FML again...

To be fair these have taken many years of abuse. The rear hubshell cracked open like 2 yrs back. I think this one has been on borrowed time tbh
Rear hub? I had a similar break along with a crack on a SS hub. Have a replacement shell but haven't swapped the bearings and axle. Depending on color some are only dipped once or twice a year.

I9 has been really fair and easy to deal with. When I cracked the rear, they offered me a really fair deal on a discounted new shell for me, and on this one they did the same….. it should be here in under a week. Which means there’s a trip to Hilltop for a wheel rebuild in my near future 🙂.

These hubs didnt owe me a thing. I have been abusing this bike/these wheels for years and years.
