yeah, you just lost the last 10 years of programmers right there. google search for the library, where what you need is already written,
and you glom it together, and use a code generator to do the rest.

real code doesn't start until the 9th column of the punch card.

Except that what you need is never 'exactly' already written. Easier doesn't necessarily mean better. I tried to explain the gray code to a 'programmer' a while ago...

Did I just show how old I am? Well, at least I never had to touch a punch card...

something interesting my wife told me about work last night....She worked in the peds ER. She said in her 12 hour shift that they had about 15 patients all night. She said on a typical winter day, this number can easily be in the hundreds and that the 17 rooms they have in the peds ER are almost always full. She also said for the whole ED (peds and adults) a typical winter day there would be about 150 people at any given time...Now that number is between 30 and 40. This is not some official data, but in her observation, the ED is less busy now.

probably wear it on a lanyard.

is the hesitation by the american people to submit to wide-spread testing really have to do with the mass collection of DNA?
This is kinda silly, cause they have a handle on familial relations with DNA, and can link through there, esp
with lots of people submitting to the DNA testing, and associating through sites like ancestry.

No, people are just lazy. If you could do this test with your phone and be granted an immediate "get out of jail free" card, 98% of the population would do it.

Why the two things should be related? Does testing for the CV antibodies requires a DNA test? If that is not the case why should they test for DNA ?

I am strongly opposed to my DNA being acquired without my consent and I am not giving my consent. Not saying anybody plans to use it now, but once it's in there a new law can be passed and extend the grabby hands of government to it. I'm thinking access to your browsing history type of thing.

Wait, what does DNA testing have to do with Pornhub?

cause that is how conspiracy theories start, and if they are pricking fingers for blood, and it gets fed into a machine.......
or they are swabbing cheeks/nasal passages....
they claimed the baseball drug testing was going to be anonymous....

Wait, what does DNA testing have to do with Pornhub?

Ask Bill Clinton.

This presumes that recovery results in immunity- has this been established yet?
I mean I trust Germany based on their response and handling,
but I just hadn't heard that this was the case.

I think it is "generally accepted" that recovery results in immunity for some time, let's say X, where X = a few weeks to a few years. Pretty wide spread there.

So no, not much.
