This Thread Blows - C19 and beyond

Manhattan is so freaking surreal right now. Everyone is walking around giving each other the stink eye like, “Are you infected? Are you sick? Don’t walk near me mother fucker.” The people with masks are getting it the worst. All entertainment and leisure activities have ground to a halt. No sporting events, no shows, bars are empty...and this is only the beginning. ? Basically it’s keep your head down, stay away from others and don’t even think of sneezing or blowing your nose in public. If you have the luxury of working from home, consider yourself very lucky.

Summit is closed for 3 weeks. Thankfully the whole town was filled with kids riding around and stopping in the shop for me to infect them, I mean, put air in their tires. Close school so they don't get infected, let them roam around freely so they get infected. Genius.

France closed EVERY school from kindergarten through University, but who understands Macron anyway... he's probably not a very stable genius.

Not officially posted yet but Mt Olive here is rumored to be closed for 4-5 weeks. Omg the insanity here.

Just hope they let me start my new job March 30 and then tell me to work at home until June or July.

Technically your adaptive immune system should build memory within 2 weeks of exposure, however there is antigenic drift within a strain just like in flu, so you can get reinfected by the same strain, but not as severely. I’ll. Have to check the literature (not the internet “experts”) to see how the immune response is mediated to Coronavirus, since this family of virus has been around for a long time.
Most deaths are still due to secondary infections, many of which are now antibiotic resistant.

Can you start a thread where you're the only person that can post since you seem to have the most actual first hand knowledge?

(No, I'm truly not being sarcastic .)
