Now I'm getting scared. Fox news says Chicago mayor says long runs or bike rides are now prohibited and they will arrest violators.
What about short runs or bike rides?
“You cannot go on long bike rides. Playgrounds are shut down,” she said. “You must abide by the order. Outside is for a brief respite, not for 5Ks.”

So are the police going to be following people around with a stopwatch? 🙂 She said that you would get a citation if you ignored the police's instruction to go home, and then arrest in the worst case, so they're not carting people directly to jail.

Looks like Chicago's parks have been shut down today anyway.

De Blasio has been saying that people should be going out for the minimum amount of exercise needed. During one of his updates over the weekend, he mentioned that since people were still ignoring the social distancing guidelines, they'd be stepping up enforcement this week, and then reevaluate closings (playgrounds, etc.) after that.

If the example for an unreasonably long activity is a 5k, that's not exactly good news for riding.

I read an article about that....it stems from people on this running path

Hey @Mr.Moto how are you doing?

@Zaskar thanks for asking. So it is exactly two weeks since I first had symptoms. Most of them have come and gone at this point. I am left with a cough which lingers and a slight feeling of wheezing. I hope to be rid of most everything by the weekend. Unfortunately my wife has been feeling something coming on. Hopefully it is nothing serious.

Still not sure if what I had was the flu or COVID or something else. It's been a real tough couple of weeks even though I have not experienced the most serious of symptoms to warrant a trip to the doc or hospital. I have not missed work during this time which has been a separate challenge in itself.

I am hoping that I've turned the corner and that the rest of my family stays healthy.

This is interesting, a drive thru covid testing site started collecting samples on tuesday at the Villages in central FL. Drive thru in cars or golf carts. There are two parts in partnership with U of Fl - standard testing of people with symptoms, and a second leg of testing those with no symptoms to try to get a gauge on asymptomatic population amongst the geezers. Will take 5 days to get the samples and a few days for results
