Tuesday Beginner Rides 2012

Looking at next tuesday - the kid logistics match up well.

As of right now it is iffy I am in oceaport and we are getting dumped on I think it is coming up the coast which means there is more on the way. 🙁
 
Sorry folks wtih the rain we got earlier this afternoon and the forcast of T-storms we are going to have to cancel this evenings ride. 🙁 the threat of T-storms is not a good sign giving the way the storms have been rolling in so far this year. hope to see you all next week...

It's more of a safety issue at this point. Leading a group into possible danger of lightning would not be a very cool thing to do.
 
We have not had anyone struck by lighting on the Tuesday beginnger rides... 🙂

This is what happens when the Tuesday Beginner Ride is cancelled. StanInTheVan gets lost and muddy. I found my way out, but it involved a ride through the golf course.😱

you took a wrong turn on TW didn't you???? 🙂 we have all done that in fact my TW detour ended up with me coming out on atlantic ave. and back up hospital road to the lot...

Too bad I didnt know. I wanted to ride last night, but without the motivation to do a group ride thing, I just couldnt get up and go. I would gladly have gotten lost with you, ummmm, I mean, showed you around 😀

Everything was fine until I thought to myself, "This doesn't look like a trail any more. Maybe if I keep going I'll find it again." I went over a few really big trees, some wood bridges and a metal ladder. I think I came out on the 8th tee. Fore!

I didn't check online before going so I didn't know about the cancellation. I covbered a lot of ground that we do on the Beginners' Ride, and then some. My ride was a challenge. I could have used a guide.

You were on the Coke trail...fun stuff, but it's an out and back. In the future please try not to cross the Golf course, they get pissed off about that. Farging gophers!!
