Tuesday Night CR Pain Train Ride

OK trail report is solid. This is a go for tonight.

5.30 Newmans or 6.30 ballfield.

I'll be there on the Pug if anyone wants to keep me company after I get dropped...I hear Kirt has a new bike and plans on making us all feel like girls 😱

-Jim.

I'll be there tomorrow at 5, riding at 515ish. 2 hours at least, no stopping. BYOT.. Not a no drop ride.....I'll leave you. Not a kill pace....8mph or so.

I can roll through different lots at different times if needed to meet up...(Kirt, Jim).

7/24/12 ride?

Is this ride going on this afternoon? I was going to try and get down there to check out the new stuff.

YES!!! It would be great if you'd come enjoy the hurt with us. Dave should be in the Newmans Lane lot around 5.30. Meeting up with me @ 6.30.

Thanks Kirt. As of now I will see you there.

I'll be at the Newmans lot at 5:30 if anyone would like to join before I meet Kirt at 6:30 (ballfield lot).

Currently bikeless until shock gets back from DT Swiss, hopefully without a leak this time! Going to miss TM tomorrow too. Damn.

Thanks!

A big Thank you to Clapper and Kirt for allowing me to follow them around this rocky & rooty place. They took me on some new stuff that was not around the last time I was there, like 4 years ago. This place rocks the rocks big time and has the longest climb around on I think Yellow? Fun time and thanks again!

after seeing mitch showed up im not sure which ride would have hurt more yesterday 😛

After reading about your day, I think yours. Any ride with BikenBen in it has to real deal. After all your complaining you still hung tough for along time and put in a lot of miles and a high MPH. My ride was fun. Me and Clapper had some fun and then hooked up with Kirt who just took off right from the word Go. These 2 guys know how to move and they don't let up. It was a good thing I can't find my heart-rate monitor because I would have stopped sooner.... I'll be back again and bring Schilling next time so they can beat him down too.

Mitch, that was a good ride. I don't know what you hr is when you're working, but mine was around 180 at the end of the yellow dh segment. I'm surprised we didn't break my KOM on that, I thought we were moving pretty quickly. I also saw 185 (almost maxed out) climbing yellow on several occasions.

Kirt took it easy on us on the stuff behind the ballfield, then he let it loose for a bit on the yellow climb. We've had more painful rides in the past, but this ride had its moments.

Stay in the singlespeed class, I already have enough competition in 50+ 🙂.
