I noticed a huge improvement between the RF Turbine Al and the RF Next R Carbon. Do you think it may have had something to do with the different bike attached to them? Probably not a factor...

I rode on those cheap chinese carbon bars for couple of years. They didnt crack so they were fine i guess?

I like my teeth too much for cheap carbon bars but you do you. As for the brakes, my buddy runs Zee's and he likes them so if the price difference isn't that much I'd go that way.

Yes, but that doesn't mean that a plastic handlebar is necessarily lighter than and aluminum one, it depends on how much plastic and how much aluminum was necessary to make it. Also, it's not just the weight but where the material is located, the shape etc...buying a cheap carbon bar to be able to say that you have carbon on your bike...meh!

BTW, looks like the Nukeproof Horizon on sale are the older version in 31.8 mm only. Not impressed with the design of the transition from the clamping area to the grip area. Just busting your chops, I'm sure Nukeproof wouldn't sell junk...I think...I wouldn't know.
