Visiting new jersey for a week.

Hi everyone. I am located on Perth Amboy, and will be staying for the week. I am blown away by the variety and number of trails that are all so close to each other. I am from Arkansas, and have to drive 1.5-2 hours to get to good trails. I was just curious, if there are any shops that allow you to rent a mountain bike. I flew up here and didn't want the hassle of flying my bike up here. Thanks.
 
Unfortunately I did not bring pedals, shoes, or a helmet. Not very prepared. I probably could not make it to the Chimney Rock group ride tomorrow in time. I will be in Manhattan all day tomorrow. Thank you for the invite. I have walked a little bit of 6MR and Allaire. Both of those trails look fun. I could probably ride Tuesday-Friday of this week.

What kind of pace are you thinking?
"Eating crap food on travel and want a butt kicking", "Looking to spend less time in hotel room and want to take in some sights at a slow social pace".... or somewhere in between?
 
Hmmm. I think somewhere in between. I like to go fast which can be subjective lol. Since it will be my first time on a new trail I will probably hold back on the pace a little.
 
Unless I get stuck at work late (which is a possibility depending how things go today) I'll be heading to Allaire at 4:30 tomorrow. I have to finish up around 6 so I can get home for the wife to go to work.... so unfortunately won't have much time for chit chat, would like to get them wheels spinning. 🙂

You're more than welcome to tag along. I could bring my wife's bike too if you haven't picked one up in the meantime (Medium 2016 Farley)
