Wanted to Buy/Trade for Beer - Tennis Racquet for 15 year old

Hey all

My 15 year old son decided for the spring he wants to sign up for the Tennis team. As expected with teenagers this was dropped on me at 3:30PM today and all the forms need to be submitted by tonight. Then I was asked when can I go to sporting goods store and buy a racquet.

Before I invest any money into this and figure out if he likes it or not does anyone have any equipment sitting around that he could get started with that’s in decent condition ? Doesn’t have to be the latest and greatest just has to be Functional for a HS freshman.

I know nothing about tennis other than that there’s a ball and it goes over a net.

Will trade for your fav 6 pack of beer or a free dog training lesson.

@iman29 I don't drink beer and I don't have a dog but I do have a tennis racket that I bought quite a few years ago that I used once to hit a few balls over the net and that's it. I'm a few minutes away from Allaire.
