Western Monmouth County Trail Build

Solid session today. We are making good progress and slowly adding quality miles. We are heading towards the Rocky Brook trail, which will open things up.

If you like what we so far, come help us build more, this will be a great addition to the area.
We work Wednesday's anytime between 10am-4pm and Saturdays 10/28, 11/11 and Sunday 11/19. Hit me up for more details.

Hey folks, we are clearing the way for new trail this Sunday, November 12th from 9am-12pm. Please come out and help us if you can, we plan to open the connection to Perrineville Road, which will give us access to the trails up on Agress Road. This will gain more trail, totaling 15ish miles. Once we get in to Agress road trail head we can renovate the Rocky Brook trail and Quail Run. This involves a lot of work and we rely on the help of volunteers to implement these projects, your help is greatly appreciated.

We're all set for tomorrow! It will be a chilly start, dress in layers, you'll warm up quick working on trails. Wear boots, gloves and bring water. I have the tools. 😀

Today we cleared for new trail and fixed some old. We even had energy left to ride 10 miles afterwards, things are shaping up nicely. We'll be back next Sunday if you want to dig and ride.

We are working at Perrineville tomorrow, Wednesday 11/15, from 1pm-4pm (I'll be there at 10am if that works better), stop by if you can.

We are working Saturday 11/18 as well from 9am-12pm.

Please help us keep the momentum going to build more trail.

Midway trail is complete, there is now trail access to Perrineville Rd/Sweetmans Lane from Pine Hill Rd.

We will be working on improving Lakeside Loop by adding flowee single track as an alternative to bland double track sections. The same goes for improving Rocky Brook trail and making a loop out of Quail Run and Rocky Brook.

At this point we have 7ish good miles of trail built. Add in Lakeside Loop and you have close to 10 miles. Once we tweak Rocky Brook and Quail Run there will be 15 ish mile of trail, without the Assunpink. I'd say it will take about 2 yrs to put all this together. Come out and help us make it happen.

This is amazing @pooriggy! Each time I help out here and ride out here it draws me in more and more. That is an amazing amount of new trails you have been able to build, and when added to the existing trails that you will be tweaking it is going to provide great mileage opportunities!!

Right at the bottom of the where we reworked the drop and put the water break 2 weeks ago!
 
If you enjoy mtbing in Monmouth County Parks(Hartshorne, Clayton, Perrineville), please consider coming out to help on the trails. The improvements made over the last few years were made possible from volunteers. We need your help to keep going, there is extensive work planned for Perrineville, we'll be there this Saturday 12/2, 9am-12pm and Saturday 12/16. Let me know if you can make it.
