I had a gift card to Bottle King - never was impressed with the Succasunna location's beer selection, but found this.
It's quite tasty - brewed with chocolate and raisins. Out of North Bergen
Tried that one in Sheridan's post-KVSP...I was surprised at how good it was.
You need to be more specific. That's like saying "recommend me some good American beer" 🙂
The best Belgium ales (imo) are La Chouffe, duvel, and the yellow Chimay. These are all blonde in color, but packing around 8%
If you want to try a killer belgian double ipa, get a bottle of Chouffe. (The Chouffe brewery has a few different flavors that look the same..... There's La Chouffe, Chouffe, mcChouffe, and n'ice Chouffe so make sure you get the right one)

going to enjoy these over the long weekend

Agreed, one of my faves too. My friend left me a gift on my front porch before. 3 smuttynose winter ales and 3 leinekugels (or however you spell it) Vanilla porters.

Me: Southern Tier 2x Stout to celebrate successful completion of a plumbing project. Then some breed of porter for the salmon burgers- either Sierra Nevada or Kona's Pipeline Porter.

A few notes :
1. Don't drink on an empty stomach
2. Don't drink like it's a Coors Light
3. Don't drink even one if you have to drive - ok maybe you can have a second if you ate.
4. Do drink if you like strong beer that is also quite tasty and you like to taste the alcohol as you drink it .
5. Do drink if you like to drink your beer more like you're drinking vodka - slow
6. Do drink on a cold winter night after a hard days playing or working to warm you up and feel relaxed

I'll have this one tomorrow night to ring in the New Year

past couple of nights enjoyed some tasty bevs...
this was one was introduced to us by MattyB...I was in a CO mood (wishing I was out there)
Big fans of Lagunita's - this was given to us as a wedding gift - very hoppy
