What beer are you drinking RIGHT NOW?

Weyerbacher Imperial Pumpkin Ale,Tastes better than it sounds,Cinnamon, nutmeg 8%.This part is funny.Went to beer store with gang of people.Friend"s girlfriend bought a case of this stuff after the clerk said they always run out. $60.00,thats right SIXTY BUCKS a case.

It's sold in 4 packs for $10... That's pretty standard for a 4 pack of "craft" beer.

went for the imperial pumpkin - nice, worth 2x smutty? i don't think so.

Thank you- these are now both on my radar-
and it's been mentioned, but Shoprite in Byram expanded their craft beer section and have a silly selection to choose from.
My local place has about the same amount to choose from, but Byram has some nice deep tracks that I don't see elsewhere.

On your recommendation, I stopped in there today.

The selection was out of this world! :drooling::drooling::drooling:

Yup, it's kind of ridiculous, in a good way.
How does it compare with Halftime?

Unita Dubhe Black Imperial IPA

I know everyone is getting into pumpkin mode,
but this is a nice transition for me.
Bold taste, good hoppage.
Sipped it over the course of an hour and a half,
so I got to enjoy the full spectrum across various temperatures.
Held up nicely all along the way.
4.5 tap handles.
Would recommend to a friend.

Halftime is like a large 7/11 or WaWa totally dedicated to most excellent beers. One aisle for German, one aisle for Belgian, two for American crafts,...etc. (and you pay for this wide selection, btw).

I was really impressed with the Shop Rite of Byram's choices. Anybody riding KVSP, Stephens or Allamuchy North with a Cranberry Lake or International Dr. start point should check it out.

My (updated for 2012) Pumpkin ale favorites list:

1.) Southern Tier Pumking
2.) DFH Punkin
3.) Weyerbacher Imperial

I just don't get the southern Tier. That shit is awful. You owe me $14, 7 from last year and 7 for suckering me into it again this year!!!

Your 2+3 are my 1+2. I also heard schlafly pumpkin is tip top.

Ha!

Actually, just bought some River Horse Hippo-lantern Imperial Pumpkin yesterday.

Very nice! Might be in my 2nd or 3rd spot.

I agree that the DFH Punkin is the best one I have ever had and I think the 2012 version is better than the 2011 version.
