Goodnight! You may still be sleeping last night off....

Ommegang Seduction (Belgian Porter)
I'm not sure if I got a bad bottle, but this did not match the RateBeer ratings or the pricetag. Good? Yes, Great? No.
Seemed to come up short on being a porter and being a Belgian brew. I dunno, not a huge fan of their BPA, so maybe I don't like their Belgian hybrids.
Anyway, my advice here would be to save the cash and buy a couple of bombers of Southern Tier's Mokah, or a 4 pack of Ten-Fidy.
That's what I'll do next time.

Others I've had recently:
Otter Creek Stovepipe Porter- Nice, but drinks a little thin for me. A good brew, but I'll stick with Sierra Nevada's porter for a bit more nuanced flavor.

DFH Chicory Stout
This is a tasty beverage- not overwhelming with the chickory, but adds some depth to the style. Nice coffee notes

Terrapin Moo Hoo Chocolate Milk Stout Fun a milk stout flavored with chocolate. Drinkable for sure, but leaning towards Bosco flavored beer.
Something like Rogue's Mocha Porter (Or ST's Choklat or Mokah) does a slightly better job of making beer a home for chocolate.

Allgash Black Belgian Stout Had this on tap in Portland. Man this is a tasty beverage.

Leinenkugel Big Eddy Baltic Porter Tasty beverage, but I liked their Russian stout better. For a good Baltic Porter try Uncommon Brewers.

Others that may/may not be available locally:
O'Hara's Imperial Stout Very tasty- drinks a bit like a porter in carbonation/mouthfeel, but has good range.

Ama Mora Imperial Porter Liked this a lot. Strong malt and coffee flavors, if you like bold rich flavors, this is a good one.
