In college, we used to buy Fosters oilcans on special occasions. Was feeling nostalgic in Koreatown tonight. But just like 25 cent instant noodles, soco and pudgies pizzas some memories should stay memories. It was pretty damn gross, even my wife's Coors Light was better. Yuck

It was very smooth pat , we were very limited on selection and wanted something citrus taste to go with what I was smoking

This Connecticut brewery makes some top notch beers . I loved this one by the fire.

Great Divide 21st Anniversary Sour. 4 out of 5 in my opinion. Could have used a little more tartness.



DFH Chicory Stout - Always amazing
Smuttynose Cherry Tart - Perfect sourness, nice cherry flavor
2014 Goose Island Bourbon County Stout - Smooth, vanilla, bourbon. Clear winner over the 2015
2015 Goose Island Bourbon County Stout - A little more harsh alcohol flavor, same flavors as the 2014 just not as smooth.

Also had Faro Lambic

I had some of that the other day. I underestimated how good it was the first time around.

I have some of these in my fridge and tis the season...

I got a hold of one of these from Matty s cooler. It's really different then any porter I've had before. The first sip is powerful with the sweet perfuminess of coconut. After 3 or 4 sips I got used to the flavor and it became less overbearing. Overall I'd say if you want an interesting porter that tastes like no other then this is the one. This is a one or two and done beer, more then that I think the taste could become sickening.
