What have you done to your bike today?

I am. I want to run it SS and carbon bikes flex too much.
Check out corvus(formerly fatback). They have aluminum fatbikes with both the older geometry as well as the more progressive. And you can buy the frame only which I'm sure you would prefer. edit: but no sliding dropouts for SS....

That was my first move because I'm friends with Greg. I was going to buy a Corvus Ti while I was in AK but they didn't have an SS. He sent me to the builder upstate that makes the frames for him. I contacted him and got a build quote and the wait list was absurd because he only builds frames part-time. It's also pretty spendy.

DU bushing swap, had a slight knock when picking the bike up. Took a $20 chance on the Sram tool which turned out to be awesome. I’ve done the bushings with all kinds of sockets and c-clamps, all that works fine. But the tool make it so easy and stress free. For $20 can’t beat it. Takes 1/2 and 13mm too. Which is nice as your 13mm socket and wrench are sad cause they largely get ignored.

Do yourself a favor, and drill out the threaded bit on the pushing side, and throw a nut on. If the tool isn't seated perfectly, it has a tendency to wallow into the eyelet and leave nasty track marks.

Broke my Cannondale fork last week (surprise surprise) so...This Classy SOB is back. ruSSty. It's like seriously rusted though. My photo skills don't show that obviously.

Also thanks to a suggestion from @bergsnj , I pulled the trigger on the new OTSO. It checks all the boxes. Normal geo, big ass tires, SS dropouts. Also comes with all the mounting brackets one could need for non-Nome adventures...

Giant Trance…DVO is awesome so far. Their customer service has been great and has been better than Fox IMHO (nice guys though at Fox). Can’t wait to ride it. The Fox DPS I am running now is okay, I am hoping to gain better dampening and more adjustability for the numerous rocks and roots.

Love that place. Each summer I tell myself to do a day at Windham and I haven't made it happen in years.

Getting a season pass there next summer. Comes with 2 days at Thunder and 2 days at Killington included thanks to Gravity Logic. Those 4 days are worth the price of the season pass alone.
