What have you done to your bike today?

Guess it's to eliminate the need for different hose lengths
It’s so the people at Dick’st don’t have to bleed brakes

Jim's telling you to buy new hoses. The hoses have a banjo fitting that screws into the lever underneath a cover--somewhat model specific.

Those quick connects/disconnects are only useful for shops. They are an additional point of failure, and should be replaced with straight hoses when convenient.

Installed the works 30t
Bought a Amazon tool to remove said chainring.
Also had to remove 1 link from the chain

Are you speaking figuratively I suppose...doesn't the Paris-Roubaix frame wright about 2 lbs!?!?! Wouldn't that make that Cervelo -2 lbs heavy?

The Futureshock is the heavy part. Roubaix frame itself is actually light. And the fork is heavy because it’s a Diverge fork instead of a road fork. And the Pave post is heavier than a road post. Think of the Roubaix as a light Gravel Bike.

Wheels were ones I built for the nimble 9 switched over to this bike and added steel hub drive. Added Vittoria tire insert to rear.

All thanks to J and the boys at Halters!!!

No pics, cause nothing comes out well in my basement.

Was planning to mess with a rear tire insert on the Ragley. The words "compliant" and "smooth" are not in Ragley's dictionary so wanna try a little lower pressure without killing rims. Noticed the derailleur was more sideways than straight. Handy dandy cheap ass Amazon alignment tool to the rescue. Looking for a spare hanger but they're out of biz, I think there's a couple companies making repops out there. Also broke my B-screw guide but still mostly works just doesn't clip on.

Next, I'm looking at a brake bleed kit for the Diverge (GRX). Left lever goes all the way back to the bar. I think I just need the port extension adaptor for the Shimano funnel but might get a whole kit and make life easier. Was a little sketch Saturday on the downhills.

Ended up buying a full Bleedzone kit ($20 on Amazon and all worked fine) and glad I did. There was no fluid visible in the lever reservoir. Why? Dunno. Was a little nervous if a bleed would be the answer but fortunately it was. Shimano mtn levers have some known leak issues, not sure about road stuff. Anyway.

Ton of air in the front system which was gratifying to see, little bit in the rear. Blew the syringe off the rear nipple at one point and took a mineral oil shower. Funky. Let's see how it holds up but good for now.

I have been preparing for this season.
-F & R 1.8 thickness Galfer rotors
-Schwable Magic Mary Super Ground soft 2.4
-Kenda Karma Pro 2 SCT 2.4
-TrailOne Hell grips
- Neutral flip chip from a newer model Trance X. I ride exclusively in high but find it’s sometimes too steep. I am most excited by this.

Now I need warm weather…
