I was skeered too, now I just aim for the middle, close my eyes as I hit the bridge and hope for the best
Well there must be some kind of special skill involved in riding the long bridge on Blue with your eyes closed.

I will never understand the fear of any bridge at 6 mile. You just ride across them. The only one that was ever worth worrying about was that one on the red that looks like a 5 year old built it that was a solid 6-8' off the ground. RIP that bridge.

I think most of us have fallen off some type of bridge at some point, and the 6 mile bridges of yester-year sure did make it fun when they were titled at a 45 degree angle towards the water.I've had customers who have fallen off these bridges, so there must be some kind of skill involved. But I've also had customers end up in the canal while riding the D&R, so maybe it's just my customers.😱
Some people are afraid of heights and that can make bridges seem scary.I will never understand the fear of any bridge at 6 mile. You just ride across them. There were definitely a few rickety bridges at 6 mile back in the day. My favorite was the one that would lean towards the creek as soon as you got on it. The only one that ever hurt me was the lone railroad tie. I broke a helmet taking a header off that (even though it was only 2-3' long) and proceeded to do CX dismount and remount every ride after that.I will never understand the fear of any bridge at 6 mile.
