What's next, a bike lift?
I've got a double Dynaplug fix in my front tire, Rekon 2.6, from TSEpic in May of this year. Pinch flatted on a very rocky descent with less than 10 rides on the tire. Still holds air and no sealant leakage in either location. I do keep an eye on it though.Serious question… has anyone here ever plugged a tire with one of those bacon thingies and was it a permanent fix where you could ride the tire untill it wore down?
Most of what I ride is rocky and I have yet to ever need that tool. Maybe it’s the EXO casing on my Maxxis? Regardless, in 30 years of riding, I can count on one hand how many times I have torn a hole in my tire. To me it’s easier to just carry a tube and patch the tire when you get home.

They are good however the current design doesn’t like thicker sidewalls and if the sidewalls tare too thick, the barbs don't catch and the plastic piece goes straight through. Seems like the original barb design worked better on all tires where the current design works better on thinner sidewallsnot sure on the dynaplug, but i carry stans darts, i have seen tires keep going far beyond what most would consider wore out with them in it and have no problems.
I hope Barb gets better soon. 🤣They are good however the current design doesn’t like thicker sidewalls and if the sidewalls too sick daughter Barb Gus in cash and the plastic piece go straight through. I've used the Dynaplug for a few repairs on the road, kept riding with them after getting home, too. Haven't had to put them to the test on the trail yet.Serious question… has anyone here ever plugged a tire with one of those bacon thingies and was it a permanent fix where you could ride the tire untill it wore down?

I had this happen to me twice yesterday with darts. The little white dart went right through, and the black thingy that’s supposed to seal was still on the needle. They are good however the current design doesn’t like thicker sidewalls and if the sidewalls tare too thick, the barbs don't catch and the plastic piece goes straight through. I just ordered one yesterdayI had this happen to me twice yesterday with darts. The little white dart went right through, and the black thingy that’s supposed to seal was still on the needle.
I’ll be looking into a dynaplug.
I have the Racer, which is 1 large and 1 small plug loaded and carry spares. I've considered getting the Racer Pro with 1 large and 3 small plugs loaded.I had this happen to me twice yesterday with darts. The size of the Dart was a big reason I didn't bother getting one to try. The Dynaplug is so much more minimalist.Dynaplug size comparison
