Any of you guys ever there when I am there? I ride a white and blue Giant Revel 1, and you can't miss me, I'm always doing wheelies in the parking lot between trails.
I'm trying to start hitting some different trails and explore more of what Allaire has to offer and trying to ride with others.

dude get rid of the whole front end and do unicycle, be sure you get a 29er doe! what gets me is in my young teens I used to ride a wheelie for miles on my Schwinn 10spd but cant go 10' now...

I should make a wheelie tutorial video but I think they're a lot of good ones now on youtube. I have another video on my youtube outside of Allaire that is pretty long, but I was definitely thinking of having the quick release loose and then doing a wheelie and letting the front wheel roll away but I want to get my manuals down better then the sky is the limit. When you go on the orange trail at allaire, on the straight aways after the blue trail cut off, I can pretty much wheelie the whole path lol

Thats impressive. Do you hit up any of the technical parks up north ?(waway, mooch, ringwood) With your bike skills you would probably do well in rocks.

I did SSpalossa and a guy was there with a unicycle did the whole race with it... very cool..

I only have a 29er MTB.
Does that make it any harder or easier to ride a wheelie than with a smaller wheel?

I also have a pump track bike with 26 inch wheels, but the seat is so low on the thing, I can't figure out if it's even possible to ride a wheelie on it. Basically when I get the front wheel of the ground, my knees practically hit my chest.

I'm pretty good at wheelies on the cross bike. I especially like the ones where I'm going good and next thing I know I'm still clipped in lying on my back looking up at the sky.

My bike doesn't do wheelies

that feature was not enabled on my bike either......

now using the sissy bar for leverage on the back of the banana seat on the stingray....it was much more simple at 10yrsold....

very cool skill.

Hey same here, I had one of those as a kid. But wasn't that a 26er??

@pooriggy I have not been anywhere up north but I keep trying to get footage for my channel so I am going to try and go to a lot of different trails in New Jersey. The one's on my list currently to go are Clayton, Lewis Morris, and 6 mile run. Those seems like some fun trails, but ill definitely look into the one's you mentioned as well.

@mike_243 I have never tried a unicycle but I have a feeling it would probably be hella fun

@HeavyMetaLance I was able to do wheelies on my friends 29ers, roadbikes, hybrids, walmarts finest, so if there is a will, there is a way 😀 Just takes time, patience, and technique

@rick81721 try to lower your seat, push down on the front, slam hard on the pedal, lift up with both the power from the pedal stroke and your arms, straighten out your arms, and then just get to a comfortable pace with your pedaling and toggle the rear brake. Don't be afraid to fall on your bum, it's all part of learning but make sure your brake is tight enough so that if you do feel like you're going to fall back you can squeeze it and have it put the front wheel back on the ground.

@michael.su I never was serious into learning endo's because I always had the fear of flying over the handlebar, then I was just fooling around and had the gopro filming and I ended up doing just that lol http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SzfHi2zf8IE for a good laugh
