Who felt it?

wow, it felt like spin cycle in the basement shaking the house a tad, but I had no wash going. I was wondering what that was all about.

I missed it too.. I was in a manufacturing plant in flemington, noone felt a thing. Not saying i want one to hit again, just curious what it felt like.

Felt a weird moving sensation, thought I was having visual issues. Then my NYC building made an emergency announcement so we all congregated outside on the sidewalk for a while. Cell was down for a bit and could not get on CNN for updates. Weird.

We were shaking like crazy here in the southern end of the state. I knew right away what was going on. The book cases, the table, the bikes hanging in the garage. Very weird.

back in my home town 5.9 is felt like nothing to us...we get used to it almost every time it coming even the big one.
so..5.9 we don't consider it as earthquake.(they have different term for this)
i don't mean to sound sarcasm but,..i just happen to know this thing.

and japan is the real one.

yes i felt it..i was in bklyn in a supermarket basement.i knew it right away.

My wife works in Hoboken, she said that they thought first that the building was collapsing (4 story building - super old), everyone ran out and then found out that something else was going on.
I work in Irvington- nothing happened there.

Felt it down here vacationing in Stone Harbor. It lasted a few seconds, the 1st floor felt like a small wave underneath and the walls shook a bit.

LOL....that is hysterical
Felt it here in Rockaway on 2nd floor...saw my computer & stuff shaking, heard the building creeking....hollered to see if maintenance was "working" on the building....NOPE....so I picked up my doggie & took off outside. Larry thought someone was jumping in the back of the work pick up truck he was in....What an experience.

We felt it here in PA. My buddy in York was hit pretty hard -- everything crashed off the shelves in his basement and he thought it was an actual quake in his area rather than an aftershock from DC. It was mild in my office -- but people were still clearing out afterward. I think they just wanted to take the rest of the day off!

I'm bummed I missed it 🙁 I work in Morristown and I'm told it was felt there. I was in the car coming back from picking up lunch and we felt nothing. I'm told the crappy walls and ceilings were shaking in the office and the blinds were smacking into the windows. They evacuated the building for a bit. We got back to the parking lot just as folks were heading back into the building.

wait til you feel a cat 3 hurricane under your ass, yea very glad I live 10 feet from the water
