That still counts. You’ll be “in” by then.I'm signed up. Not so sure I'm "in" tho![]()
Awesome! Just tell him if he can find it again, that state line trail is just off the course. 😂I think @Wrong Way Dan said he's doing it again this year.
When i find it am i allowed to ride it during the race?? It's hands down the best trail there.Awesome! Just tell him if he can find it again, that state line trail is just off the course.
InU in? I made this an early season goal and it's rapidly sneaking up. Who else is in for some awesome PA singletrack and hills?
Of course. Have at it!When i find it am i allowed to ride it during the race?? It's hands down the best trail there.
If you can get a bunch of long days in the saddle, know how to suffer, and come back from bonking, it’ll be a good time!Always a bucket list to do the marathon distance, but no clue on proper training.
And if the race stuff and volunteers have the same enthusiasm now as back in 2003 it is amazing. 5 fully stocked aide stations; food, water, sports drinks, tubes…. And everyone is just trying help everyone get to the finish line. The support from staff and other riders made me stop doing local races. You have random conversations with varies people all day. I can not wait to get back to races/rides like that.Always a bucket list to do the marathon distance, but no clue on proper training.
The vibe is still similar. Survive and keep the stoke high! And if the race stuff and volunteers have the same enthusiasm now as back in 2003 it is amazing. 5 fully stocked aide stations; food, water, sports drinks, tubes…. That is awesome. I really want to make next year my year of endurance. And the 101 is definitely a ride on my list. So much fun. You can laugh and cry a million times over in one day.The vibe is still similar. Survive and keep the stoke high!
They have that at pretty much every aid station. Plus the beer/whisky handups going up the big climb after aid 2.That is awesome. I really want to make next year my year of endurance. And the 101 is definitely a ride on my list. So much fun. You can laugh and cry a million times over in one day.
Do they still have the guy cleaning and living chains at aid station 4?
Is that still a double track kinda gravel road that just feels like a wall? I just remember up till there thinking when is it going to get hard. And then it happened. And happened fast. That single track climb after #3 was long and rocky from what I remember also. They have that at pretty much every aid station. Plus the beer/whisky handups going up the big climb after aid 2.
Yes that’s it. I remember it being like 45 minutes of death. One year I was going up it and saw a big fat rattlesnake on the edge of the road. I thought if I got bit it would be a fair excuse to quit. But yet I couldn’t convince myself to quit. Yea after aid 3 there’s quite a bit of solid singletrack. Is that still a double track kinda gravel road that just feels like a wall?
