Wilderness 101 - July 23

I just looked back at my past races. This will be my 10th time racing the Wilderness. That’s crazy. 1000+ miles of the 101. I hope this is a good one!

I was trying to do 4-5 of these a season, earlier in my racing career, so I could compete for the overall. It’s gets expensive and exhausting traveling all over to do these. Maybe when I retire I’ll try that again. For now it’s 1 or 2 if I’m lucky. 😎

I dream about it. My fitness is so bad I wouldnt last 10 miles up there. And I still have trouble sleeping when I think about Schoolhouse Road at mile 70.
