I have seen a few of these dead in my neck of the woods, but this is the first Timber Rattle snake I have seen alive in the Pine Barrens. Almost ran it over, not aggressive at all. Super cool.

Trail obstacle. Came around the corner fast and it turtled when I slammed on the brakes.
