Winter Storm Must-Haves

More weight! With that snowblower hanging off the front you probably need 200-300lbs on the back. Did those wheel weights work out or did you sell them? Rig some weight onto the hitch too.

I say this but after setting up my tractor for snow a few weeks ago it hurts for traction on my driveway without snow 🙁

Oh shit I forgot to put them on. Yeah I have them still.
When it gets bad I put my rack carrier thing on the back (tractor has a 3" receiver hitch) and put a couple concrete castings I found around the property in the back. But it screws up how it turns really bad. But once I get up my hill once I'm usually pretty good to finish it as I'll just drive up to the top and turn on the snowblower going downhill.

Doesn't Charlotte shutdown when there's a flurry?
This is an actual picture of an inch of snow in North Carolina

Ya we can't do anything, I think that shot is from SC actually. The squad is flying in just for this snow tomorrow around 1140 😉

EDIT: or it may be Raleigh?

damn my edit was too slow...

yeah that storm was a bust here, just a flurry on the grass, roads were clear within a couple of hours. they got HAMMERED with 3 inches if i remember correctly.

All I need is a little patience. I remember a storm similar to the timing of this one, it was 2 years ago roughly. We all knew it was coming. I remember getting out of work the usual time and attempting to get home. It seemed like these bastages did zero plowing during the day.............every highway, road I attempted to navigate through was a friggen parking lot ! Just a little patience................
