Yeti coolers

Worth the $?

I'm looking at the yeti tundra 45 of which would get a fair amount of use.

What say the community?

I have two of these RTIC coolers and I think they work just as good as the Yeti coolers. You can find them on Amazon pretty cheap. They keep the ice in ice coffee all day and hot drinks stay warm for a while.

Have a Yeti 65. Would not buy at full price, used my REI dividend and a gift card. Wanted to get an RTIC, but delivery date was a month later than when I needed it. That being said, works as advertised. Will easily keep ice for 5 days. Used it at TSEPic over Memorial Day week last year for ice storage only. Still had cubes in the ice bath on day 7. My brother has the RTIC 65 and a soft 20 or 30. They seem to work just as good as a Yeti

I live in the land of the high end cooler (Texas). Yeti is based in Austin and RTIC is Houston based. After living here through a summer, I see why they make these coolers. Its hot as f*ck here.

I've seen both side by side in many stores. The RTIC seems like a no brainer at half the cost. They are nearly identical in quality and feel. They are both built like tanks.
