Things that make you frown :(

Not sure what the top limit is for my '23 Transit. After reading first hand accounts on the socials and forums, the now recalled for various reasons Transit Trail was limited to 81mph, was curious if that was the case with all Transits. Driving a brick down the highway that fast isn't necessary, but 100mph has been achieved once.
81 would be painful on a long trip.

A full campervan build out of a Transit Trail, T350 AWD Ecoboost high roof, with the lift kit and bigger tires, roof racks and all the other stuff will be pushing 10,000lbs. I get it, some people drive fast. The mpg would be in the toilet. I'm good with 70ish and will get almost 20mpg. Towing my camper and loaded with gear, it drops to around 16mpg.

Driving my empty Suburban is good for 17mpg.

Not frowning, but I've got an '09 CRV AWD that struggles to beat 24mpg unless I keep it under 75mph. My '19 5.0 F150 returns 20.5 mpg @a steady 80mph.
Maybe the CRV needs plugs... but it's only got 60k mi. onda clock..

Dearol' Dad's '17 Camry is a 34mpg hero. Pretty much all the time.

'07 CRV with 160k daily driver and see the same thing. Stop and go commute traffic hits the mpg. Clear sailing at 70-75 and it will make it to 26mpg.

I have a 2019 Kona front wheel drive that gets about 33 to 34 on the road and 28 to 30 City. No frills but can put tools in back to help family out.
No power to pull anything but the dog can jump instead of the wife's RDX.

Weather!
The weekend I decided to drop my bike off at shop was last good weekend to ride. Since it's been an ice skating rink. I don't do indoor and I don't to road. Just spouting out that this sucks for my mental health. February should be mandatory Arizona month from now on.

Feeling this shit weather across the board! My kids are wreaking havoc after being cooped up all weekend. And my poor wife is home alone with them today since school is out. Hoping we can at least get out for a hike next weekend.

Thankfully I’ve been able to squeeze in at least 1 ride a week lately.

Counter point, February is the worst time. You go to AZ in February, it's amazing and then come home back to the worst part of winter.

@pixychick does it right.

I keep telling myself that this crappy weather is payback for the awesome fall we had. Off today and not riding. Again.

I keep saying these Monday holidays aren't the best days off. More restaurants are closed on Mondays and all those 3-day weekends are $$ because so many people have off.
