What have you done to your bike today?

Installed my new xt shifter. There was much rejoicing. Happy to have my multi release back but even happier i got the ispec vs clamp mount coin toss correct. I really needed it moved outboard. Between it moving over and the longer paddles on the shimano it is perfect for me now. New take off gx will be for sale shortly.
Which brakes are installed?

Moving right along, albeit slowly (thanks Shimano). Got the derailleur and shifters squared away. I was hoping to have it all done last night, but Shimano went ahead and changed the pass-thru bolt for the brake lines (it's now a flanged M9). It was driving me crazy (and worrying me) why the original bolt was seemingly bottoming out. You'd think they would include this with the purchase of new shifters, but no. But at least they included new, readily available ferrules!!!

Went ahead and ordered a Wolf Tooth 42 for the crank (it's 110BCD 11s, but it should fit), because why not.

Camelbak came out with new 15oz bottles, so now I can add a small bottle to the seat tube mount. Love the look of them against the new-ish Lezyne cages. Overall it's coming along nicely.

Pulled off a smart trainer after collecting dust for past 3 years. Literally used that smart trainer once to see if it worked 😂
Thinking this will be my early dawn patrol gig if my knees hold up. They've been pretty good for about a year so testing this experiment out.

Bunch of work lately and A LOT more to do!

Took delivery of this bike & put it together. Ti Lynskey GR300.

New power meter for an XC bike build I'm getting ready to do.

This bike had been hanging as a frame for the last year... Just rebuilt it & getting ready to sell it.

Probably my last time working with a modern frame, hidden cables are nice but they don't really matter much to me. View attachment 258177

It's 100% easier to straight-shot it from exit to exit. Anytime you need to try to cram housing/hose in through the shell, there's an excellent chance to kink it to the point it won't work right.

Slide the foam on from the headtube.

Foam ends somewhere mid frame, so can't start from the headtube. Is the foam attached to the chainstay on the inside where it exists. Or should it yank out?
