decided to get into work late today and do a quick 90 min ride, first time on Mtb in a while and felt a little foreign. Park was perfect at a 3.5. Slippery roots more an issue than the leaves. Will need more time on the Mtb, still no mojo

someone trying to reroute the guard rail climb? Going up that last last rooty section before the turn always gets me.

poop hill did not smell, however after getting on white from Chimney park, I did smell a dirty wet dog

had the park to my lonesome, come get some!

I had a mini pinoy party too...happened upon Blad and two of his kaibigan. We tackled Orange and red together before I had to pack it in.

Oo nga, that was me indeed. Next time I'll know to say hi...I was on my FS bike but once the snow hits the fattie comes out to play.

Also, yesterday, there was a 30'+ long dead evergreen tree trunk 12-14" in diameter down across the new yellow trail (Train Simulator, etc) south of Gilbride and east of the Middlebrook above the damn. Too big for 3 people to move.

was it this one? I tried to roll it with another guy I met on the trail. But no luck. There's also a suspicious burn mark which must have been recent. Was the cause of the recent fire determined? Worried there may an arsonist out there

Looks like it.

Somebody had taken care of it by Black Friday lunch. Also, there was one on the western ascent of red just across the stream and above the new trail that was cut and rolled away today.

Great trail conditions on Black Friday. The connector from left to middle blue is proving to be challenging for me. Here's the aftermath of one of my unsuccessful attempts at the left hand turn. Note the blue water bottle.

I need to get out to CR soon... feeling more confident on the Fatty and the videos I'm seeing look awesome. How does CR compare to Hartshorne or LewMo?

There are more rocks, but there's nothing really that intimidating at CR. Thats the beauty of that place. if you're comfortable at Hartshorne and lm, you will be fine.
