Trails in excellent condition Due to the impending thaw, we hit the trails @ 7:30. All trails, even TW were frozen and in excellent condition. We got off the trails around 10:30 and conditions were still excellent. Tomorrow's rain will most likely change that.

Allaire is back..for now. Conditions at Allaire are near perfect..frozen and fast. We were out for a few hours, hit all of the trails, hard to believe there is little to no ice, although a few areas of frozen ruts. The only exception is on the river trails, still some drainage crossing the...

We tried, but the roads down here are already bad. We only made it a few miles before turning around, after sliding through two intersections. We are heading out the door for a trail run instead. See you for the post storm ride.

Was hoping to post earlier, but the weather hadn't afforded much road time. Picked up my new road ride the week before last, (a Giant Defy Advanced) after a long search to fit my 6'-5"+ frame. After a ride at Six-Mile, made my first visit to the shop. We discussed a couple of options...

Should have collected a dollar from everyone, might have equaled the GNP of a small 3rd world country. Thanks Chris G. It's tough with a group a third of todays ride and you kept things rolling. Look forward to another of your rides.

I am currently running Ignitors, but have run Nevegals in the winter and they worked great in a variety of conditions. They are not as fast as some tires, but you can count on them to hold well in poor conditions.

Kudos to JORBA and all who came out to support this outstanding festival. Really enjoyed interacting with our new to the sport riders on the beginner's ride. Even though we had a large number of riders, everyone had a great time. Looking forward to volunteering again next year.

We will be there, and I would be happy to bring some type of food, which I am not certain of at the moment, but will get back to you on. we have already had ride discussions and and we are planning to ride for sure, so maybe we can coordinate with other party goers.....
