Rode with the boys this morning. We had alot of fun, but the trails are far from ready. The main road out to the pit is rideable and some other little sections are rideable with a real challenge, but hardly enough to put down any mileage. Energy used = high
Mileage = low
If a bunch more people would get out and do the same, the snow will pack more and then!
Merry Christmas

Thanks for the report. I was considaring heading out tomorrow morning before meeting up with the fam. Went out there last Sunday with snowshoes and even that was a slog.

Walked it today and it didn't look like much fun for a Bike. I saw some Bike tracks that looked like they were all over the place. Looked like quite a bit of ice. Hopefully I am wrong, would love to be riding again. :popcorn:

Allaire Lake

Rode by it a few times on the road bike. I kept having to back track some roads because they were flooded. It is pretty crazy - Allaire is under water. If we have a freeze I pretty sure we can go ice skating by the river trail or should we say "pond" trail at this point.

Nice day for a road ride except for the wind at points. 😀

I'm assuming it should be rideable tomorrow with the freezing temps. I'll be heading out at tomorrow (tuesday) at 10 AM if anyone wants to join.

Allaire is back..for now.

Conditions at Allaire are near perfect..frozen and fast. We were out for a few hours, hit all of the trails, hard to believe there is little to no ice, although a few areas of frozen ruts. The only exception is on the river trails, still some drainage crossing the trails in a few places w/some ice. Should ride well for a few days.🙂

So.. NO need for studs??

Oh, I'm there tomorrow. 8:00 sharp on the trail before the snow changes to rain. Probably the BIG bike for some fun and to mix it up a little. :getsome:
