Conditions Report

ha, yes but it's also the slowest 12 days of the year being that most of the orders come in pre-Christmas.

Was out on the trail by 7:45 ish and it was glorious. Layed the first tracks on Tiger as well even though a couple guys beat me to the other trails. If you have not left to ride yet your too late. The snow is getting wet and now it's raining. Early bird gets the worm. 😀

Hopefully it gets below freezing tonight for a New Year's ride tomorrow for the folks who had to work. 🙁

Dustin and I where there at 8 and the ish was friggin sweet!...Starting now, stay away.

Forgot to watch out for ice under some of the fire roads. There is quite a bit. The carpet got yanked out and I fell on me arse

If it was a tiny bit warmer you were going through the ice... It was rain when we got back to the lot at 10:50 or so. But while we were out there it was huge flakes

that happened to me several times today, but just in the lower parts (at chimney rock)

Regular winter bibs work fine in the cold....I have a cannondale one and have yet to be cold on a ride...keep pedaling and the blood will flow

Me too I picked up a pair of winter bibs from nashbar and a set of paradox uppers and lowers I have been out in 17 deg. with both sets on and been toasty like Dustin said just keep pedaling.

True that. What's going on down there? Thinking about heading to Pennsyljersey for some good old fashioned beach riding😀

GREAT - Frozen Fast!

Frozen and fast - it's on son! :getsome:

Some light snow still down in shadowy areas. A lot of corners look like they have ice but then it grips but then you never know and you get all scared - good fun - come down. 😀

been there today's morning , the park is in perfect shape !
hardly no ice /snow on the ground
see you tomorrow !!

All the work done on the trails really shows when there are very few frozen puddles and ruts. I hope to get there at some point tomorrow.

Bring your wind layers peeps. 30 mph winds down here making it uber chilly. It's going to be super frozen fast.
