I'm new to the forum and finally trying to get on my bike consistently. I typically get most of my workout trying to find the parking lot after I attempt a trail, so riding with others would be great!

I'll take any tips you can dish out on the trail, because I definitely need to get my skills up to par (downhill switch backs, carrying speed, where to keep my weight, handling rooty sections, tire pressure, etc...) and learn best by doing.

I live near Allaire and don't mind waking up early. I met some great people Thanksgiving morning, and I'm looking forward to getting back out there!

Welcome aboard I ride allare as much as time and weather allows and don't mind showing anyone around....black 2005 TJ
there are also the Tuesday beginner ride that start up in the spring plus as you found out sporadic rides on the weekends.
keep an eye in the Rides sections on the board for more info.

we have a TM at Allaire this Sunday Dec.6 we meet in the parking lot at 08:00. bring your bike,helmet,gloves,bug spray and a sense of humor this is a good way to learn the trails and build up good karma.

Oh boy...big sigh...do I have to explain to YOU too? Swimming is what triathletes spend 1/3 of their time doing.🙄
 
Good to see you yesterday. I'm sure you had a good ride, Mark knows the park as well as anyone...hope you took notes. Test to follow!:hmmm:
