Hell yeah brutha:getsome: I've now got two pairs just for me depending on conds. Iggs is really kickin some sand in my face but I'm drinkin milk and am gonna be the captain of said team!! YOU'LL SEE😀
 
Brett, u are already captain of the team.

I'm still waiting to hear what kinda skis Jake gots. A pic would be nice or even a crayon drawing.

Probably the BC 65's. Are they blue or brown-ish?

Jimmy, here you go...Jake/Utah you newbs should pay attention to this video as well.

I have found Saul to be one of the best internet instuctors I've seen when it comes to xc skiing.
Watch this video several times and take it all in. I will quiz you tonight at 11:30.

With the deep snow in non groomed conditions learing to kick and glide will be pointless. You will be trudging through snow that is up to your shins...assuming we get the snow there talking about. However you should learn the principles behind the kick and glide to understand how to make the skis work. As xc ski tracks become established and snow is packed down it will become easier to get some glide out of your kick.

yes, let someone blaze a trail before you. i have to go into work tomorrow, so I won't be able to plow tracks for you. Did u get boots yet?

its the same technique as the video only without much glide. You basically just have to power through it. If the snow is deep its not a lot of fun. Not sure what the snow totals are going to be.
 
We TRAIL SKI!! The ONLY way to get it is to go. Y'all should set something up for tommorrow and we should all go out together............
 
i'm up for tomorrow...pending my test run today. should be interesting to say the LEAST
 
I laid some freshies from the park n ride at mahlon. We could hit that or just have Iggs break some trail at one of the mooches.
