25-26 Ski and Snowboard Thread

I’m in basically the same boot (Rossignol hero 140) just different boot board and name on the side. It’s a tighter fit but so damn comfortable once dialed in, scared to jeopardize that.
My boots are at least twice as comfortable with better heel hold than the stock liner. If you're willing to pay full retail, Zipfit will let you return the liner if you don't like the fit. I just grabbed a pair off ebay for about half off in the middle of the Summer. Figured I could just resell them it they didn't work out.

If you have any questions or concerns, they have all been answered in this thread. If you decide to attempt to read that thread, shoot me a PM and I'll let you know who you should pay attention to. As all things internet, some posters don't have a clue.

Edit to add, your stock liners will eventually pack out. You could always wait until that happens. Zipfits never pack out. People get 1000's of days out of them.

What boots are you in? Same q to @UtahJoe I been zip fit curious but been skeptical to go inquire with a punched/ground lv boot.
I have nordica cruise 120s....My shells were also heavily modified by Willie (James Wilbur) at ski barn in Paramus...I swear he had them on that english wheel of his until they looked like something resembling a clown shoe lol. The stock liners were always annoying me tho....To tight on my instep area, too loose on my heal.....I would always get pains on the outside of my foot and my feet would get cold without my boot heaters. With the zip fits...it feels like my foot has all the space I need...toe box has plenty of room...yet it never feels loose or slopy. I havent modified mine at all yet, jut put them on in the store and was like DAM! I think I paid $450 for mine...which is alot, but after 3 days on them, I would have paid more.

@Wrong Way Dan gave me some UHMW tape to put on the shells and the backs of the liners...makes getting them in and out a little easier. I read about that boot horn, so I ordered one of those to try...Thats the only annoying part, putting the liner on first

I use the same tape plus I spray in some Food Grade Silicone in the shells about once a month. There is someone out west who just started selling a supposedly better type of boot horn. Link is within the last 15 or so pages then the thread I posted about above. I’ve never really needed one with the tape and spray.

Saw this when I got my touring boots fit last year. A guy was buying a case of it while I was there. If you judge it by booster and their power straps then I’d hope it’s as good as those.
