Found tonight "on" on Red near orange merge near the power lines. PM if yours.

always wondered why there's no requirement to "curb" your horse like dogs, at least bring a shovel/rake a take off the trails folks....
Don't fk with horse people. They are well connected, organized and rich.
Many of the trails that are closed to mtbs have at least something to do with horse folks.

they also thin at CR, saw the biggest buck there a few weeks ago, since then been freaked to go out late

I've been approached by 2 aggressive bucks while hiking at CR. Even with my dog who chased them away.

horse dung is good for the soil, dog dung is not
horse dung does not carry the disease and become a potential health problem the way dog dung can and does.
there are far more dogs than horses dropping dung all over.
ps I am a horse lover so may be biased. horse dung does not smell near as gross as dog dung.

This is true. Riding through horse manure is annoying, but doesn't stink to high hell for the rest of the ride.

Sorry, not buying it. I despise the equestrians. Love the horses, doe. They are beautiful majestic creatures. The asses on top of them, not so much.
If you're going to look down your nose at me, could you at least give the poor animal a break and dismount...

mountain bikers are the main reason mtb is banned. back in the 80s people were buzzing the horses, cause hey, why slow down.
if every time they came across an equestrian, they pulled over, said hello, compliment their horse, and went on their way it would not have become a problem.
gee, watchung stables are attached to the park, you'd think they'd get a little respect. instead they spooked horses, and laughed about it.
yeah, for each pile of crap that i come across each year, there are 10 gu packs. and i'd say 3:1 bags of dog shit hanging from a tree, like they would pick them up.
I think you mean Watchung. SM is closed because all the rich homeowners want the place to themselves.
Agree on cleaning up after them. A ton on the canal last week and it was annoying
