6 Mile Run Conditions

There were hardly any wet spots on the trails I rode - blue and red I think between Canal and South Middlebush. All trees were cleared off, looked like there had been recent chainsaw activity in some locations.

Excellent conditions tonight - two tiny puddles on red but otherwise a little dusty if anything - the bike has a red coating on the wheels. I crashed pretty hard right off the bat (think Pearl passed me just as I was getting on my bike again)and my shifting was really squirrley. Oddly enough, I crashed again about 30 minutes later and the shifting was fine afterwards!

I wasn't sure if that was you or not! I took a good spill on white too.

Did a full loop this morning and the conditions at 6M are excellent. A couple of muddy spots on that new re-route on the white trail and very few anywhere else.

I'd like to hit it around 6:30 am out of the canal Lot, but I'm flexible on the time and lot if there are any takers.

bringing back an old thread i started - come join? last year it actually gained some momentum with takers.

and to bring it back to conditions - like Rdoonz said - its great out there. rode blue/red on the canal side early this morining and it was dusty.

sadly i always feel that dusty isn't "good". sure its good to ride and doesn't damage the trail, but the tacky dirt is the true definition of good 😛

that feel with tacky dirt.... omgsssssss

Some digging went on today.

That place needs rain badly. A few miles in and I was hacking like a 3 pack a day smoker. Fortunately it rained a little and knocked down some of the dust but I still taste it in my mouth..

PS lots of great work on the white trail!

A few of us rode yesterday afternoon and it was great! When we were cranking in the open field there was a lot of dust. I did not realize till I got home and showered and saw all the dirt in the tube.
Jay been one busy Beaver. The reroute are sweet and the new features are even better. It time to ride this place now!
