6 Mile Run Conditions

Conditions are dry. Most of the mud holes are now just holes. Had a dark Six Mile Tan by the end of my loop.

Legs felt like poo, but managed to get hooked up with 3 other guys going about the same speed and got "ego'd" into doing the jump on White. Finally cleared it on the EMD. Also managed to clear the jump on Red heading towards While right after the Blue fork. That was fun. 🙂

Planning to go out again on Friday. The forecast looks friggin' perfect.

Ian, did you pass us (jdog & me) doing the trail work today?

anyway, like Ian said, it is powdery. But you will be rewarded by finding a new log ride on blue (easy on going towards canal, but not impossible the other way)

a moved bridge (the one with the bad washout on one side.)

a reroute away from a mud puddle just before (eastbound) the table tops.

go help ride these new sections in!!! and get some video on the log (a couple turns after the logpile on the right)

We actually could use a bit of rain. It goes from mudfest to bone dry in a hurry.

I would live to have people do their part to try and close down the shortcuts that keep popping up. Throw a few big logs on whatever shortcuts you see appearing.

I think the work we did today on blue will be well received. The new log ride is now the biggest in the park.

Ian, did you pass us (jdog & me) doing the trail work today?

No... rode Tue after work.

I heard we may get some rain tonight and tomorrow. I'm hoping to go again after work on Friday. Looking forward to seeing the changes. Thanks! 😀

Well... it seems we got a bit more rain than originally predicted... 🙁

Got hammered in that area - this morning's commute on canal road just up from 6MR there's a pond covering half the road - nice job cleaning out the drainage ditch frankling township...

Any updates on trail conditions and what to expect on Sunday morning of 8/25? A few of us from SJ were thinking of making the trip.

Rode early this morning. Rode Orange to Blue to Red, skipped the White. A few mud holes but otherwise nice and tacky. With today's sun and low humidity tomorrow (Sunday 25th) will be great. The bridge at Blackwells mills Rd was knocked off its foundations by the flood on Thursday, its ridable but not exactly lined up with the trail despite trying to lift it back into place.

Rained pretty hard late afternoon for a short while. Might soak in by tomorrow afternoon if we don't get any more.
