I'm not gonna make the opening day circus at 6 Mile, I have a fundraiser carwash.

Early bird for opening day. No one in the Canal lot at 7:15.
Saw @GHM73 on White after Jacques Lane.
Red between Middlebush and 27 still needs time to heal. I'd avoid.
Saw @jdog and crew at boardwalk.
Saw @jimvreeland and crew. Blue at field entrance/reroute a mess.
Other hero dirt and good.
Canal lot when I finished at 9:15. Lot was full when I pulled out.

It was surprisingly empty this morning. I guess everyone thought it would be packed so no one showed up. Hero dirt!!

I got there around 11’ish, and while the 27 lot had a decent amount of cars, it was surprisingly roomy out on the trails. I did not venture across the cement bridge but what I rode of red and orange was great. Stop and chatted with some of the oos crew. Overall a great first day back on the pedals.

I was a little surprised to not see the new signs this morning. Were they already stolen or have they not been installed yet?
I’ll put them up this week. I decided to fix the broken board on the boardwalk instead of putting up signs. I have them. They will be up shortly J

Went thru there yesterday afternoon. Thanks for all you do. LMK when I can help lift things up and put them down.
It will be too wet in the morning tomorrow. We have had a cold soaking rain on and off since 11. A few solid downpours. One more freeze/thaw happening early this week too which will keep it mucky.
After the freeze/thaw round we should be good no matter morning or night other than when we have rain.

How big are the signs? Not for nothing but unless the letters are 6 inches tall you won't be able to read them from a car. Hell, most people don't know the park is managed by NJDEP and there is a sign ten feet wide that proclaims that as you enter the lot.

12 x 18 and they are bright yellow with black lettering. That's the park approved size. They will get attention and we have enough to post them at all lots and all over the park including trail entrances. It will not be possible to miss them.
