Manny with a bathroom scale it is 35lbs. and it feels every bit of it.

my first ride a chimney rock ended with a flat front tire.had to patch it this morning. Pressure was under 10 psi but not sure of exact pressure because my gauge only starts at 10.

Meaning its very heavy and hard to climb? Even noticeable on granny gear?

It's 8 lbs. heavier than my anthem x 29. Climbing was fine didn't have to use the granny gear at CR.
The rotation of the tires makes it hard to turn you really have to force the handlebars to get it to turn. Easier on dirt then on pavement.

BD Fatbike + On One Floaters= Awesome. My first ride at Neshaminy last night. I'm not a strong climber but I was able to stay in the middle chainring the whole ride.20131030_222335_resized.jpg

Did you set those up tubeless?

I tried with the stock tires but with the wire bead it will not work. As per my LBS

I got home at 5pm, unpacked and assembled the bike and was on the trail by 8pm. No time to mess around with tubeless.

I'm running 10 psi with tubes.went out the first day and pinch flatted was around 7 or 8 psi.

Very fun bike for the price. It is going to be a great winter of riding it.
Also replaced the 44 tooth ring with a BBG bash guard .

Just curious why did you change the tires the have excellent grip out the box?

Two friends of mine bought the same bike. One says he has great traction, the other says he slides around alot. So while I was waiting for my bike to come in I decided to order the On One's

I bought one of the green ones on a impulse but I don't think that I will really have much opportunity to actually ride it, if anyone might want it I would give it up.

an updates on BD bike? Im looking at the Night Train without the Bluto.

I keep talking myself out of the bluto as I won't need it but for $300 more and new they go for $600. it seems to be a smart move. The bike has great components and is a heck of a lot cheaper than any bike with those components. Framed has a bike in that price range with cheaper components plus mech brakes.
