Just saw the K-town announcement come thru via an email from Darkside. I can't say I'm ready for riding snow right yet. Still want to get a few weeks more of dirt.

I was out before this mess really started. Just the tail end started to get moist.

This is worst case scenario. Just enough snow to tease me into wanting hit VT but the usual warm snap will melt what they got/blew this weekend. While biking NJ will be swamp ass all week. That being said might be hitting up K-Mart if the weather holds and they open more trails next weekend.

I finished up a ride about an hour ago. It was raining, windy, and nasty. I made a horrible decision not to wear my heavier gloves and I'm pretty sure I got to experience the early stages of frostbite setting in, it took like a half hour to thaw my hands out. Screw character building, that was miserable. Anyway, wet snow started falling here about a half an hour ago. HPCX should be interesting tomorrow.

I have said this before but I'll repeat it. Between 30-40 degrees plus rain is war zone material. You need to prepare for the worst. 25 and snow is easier to ride in than this. It is 31 and rainy snow where I am now. Dress for a winter war zone.
