I took the next step, put on the head to toe bee suit and dug up two large hives.

This was one of the more terrifying experiences that I’ve had in some time.



Bee suits work. This was a legitimate test.

Got out with a High Tech crew on Friday to knock out a few items on the punch list. We laid 40+ pavers on the always seemingly wet area in the south east corner. The dirt on top will be gone after the 1st rain storm. Just hoping we put in enough.
Then we worked on other drainage issues, reworked some turns and just cleaned up areas on the eastern side.
As always, wanted to say “Thank you” to High Tech, greatly appreciated.
And to Ryan for joining us for half the day.

Does this impact existing trails? The flat sections they speak of are, I'm guessing, the basketball court and possibly the area around the start of stop sign trail.

Yeah. It’s an E-Bike or NO E-Bike scenario at this point. The general public doesn’t see the difference at all. Also unpopular opinion but, you build a trail that looks like it’s for dirt bikes and you get dirt bikes showing up. These dudes ain’t riding High Tech that’s for certain.

Super digging today after a soaking rain last night.

We made it down to the road crossing on the trail which I jokingly called “double dribble” to @christryon the other day.

We have a tiny bit more cleanup but the basic layout is done.

Go pack it down with your tires. 🛞
