Car-spotting thread

$70k for an ugly fwd car? For that money you're better off getting an RS3, a C7 vette, used 718, etc. That is when the world gets half-way back to normal.
I don’t think it will for a while for a 2-3 more years. And it won’t be back to normal. We are going to fall somewhere in between. The pandemic ignited frivolous pleasure spending. I think more people see the value of spending some money rather than saving every last penny which is useless when you are 6 feet under.

I agree, it won't go back to the way things were, but fall somewhere in between. I think the chip shortage will ensure short supply and high prices for another 2 years. I fully intend to spend frivolously on a car, but north of $70k it won't be on an atrocity like that. Once you start pushing $100k it needs to look good, be fast, and not be front wheel drive.
