New BMW grilles are just as ugly as Lexus, if not more so. No subtlety among today’s car designers, except perhaps Porsche, Audi and Mazda.

Meant to attach pic with my post.
Got to drive this loaner yesterday as my wife's '19 Mini Cooper S convertible needed a battery. Watched a Youtube video and decided pretty quickly I wasn't going to deal with it. As a mechanical engineer, the engineer who designed the battery location should be kicked in the nuts. While it was there, they discovered a broken upper engine mount and the rear tires, that are probably original, needed to be replaced. $$$$ because it is a damn BMW. The '25 Cooper drove like shit, the seats were cinder blocks and there is no shifting. Much prefer our '19 with paddles on the steering wheel or the "power glide" style shifter.

The techs must be good at doing it then. Dropped off at 7:20am. Received the text message of complimentary video inspection at 8:30am showing the engine mount and tire issues. Text message saying it was done at 1pm.

In the neighborhood i think its mid to late 50's packard but couldn't get a good look at front looks like all badging had been removed

That sounds like about 3hr for a pro, which definitely reaches PITA status for me at home!
Wife's on to the next vehicle choice. Talk me out of a Countryman.

The current one has been pretty trouble free. I like the way it drives better than the Volvo she liked last week.
Just traded in a 2017 that I had since new. Trouble free. I only changed brakes and tires once. Did regular oil changes. Traded in with 82k miles. One of the better cars I ever owned.
I'm impressed by a trouble free bmw product but I would fully expect it to drive better than a Volvo
