Chimney Rock Conditions

Yes, Rob, think you'd be fine tomorrow on a regular MTB. I had my fatbike out earlier and it was great, but I'd say the snow was only ~2" deep -- 3" at the most -- so you should be able to get more than adequate traction.
Glad to see your back in the saddle Dave , we need to hook up again soon !!!!

Thanks for the encouragement, Mike! I'm still working through some health issues, but hope to have greater clarity on what's "good" and what's "not good" for me to do by the end of February. In the meantime, I'll be venturing on a few selective, "easy" rides to maintain at least a minimal amount of fitness. I do look forward to hitting the trails with you sometime soon!

14 miles east of Gilbride on the same ridge there's 58% magic snow. The feeling of snow boarding fresh powder when you are not on the ground, but not in the air and turn by thinking about it. Very steep tech bits---not so much.

Here until Sunday morning...
