Conditions

Get on it now as it will surely be shot for weeks after this mess is over. Well, at least December had amazing conditions for the whole month. Winter is here and out come the rollers.

Anyone know if hikers/snowshoers/xc skiers have been in here to compact the snow on the trails?
I want to get in here but would like to know conditions.

I'm six miles from Allaire and most side streets in my own and surrounding towns are still impassable. I've spoken to a couple of friends in Jackson and Howell and they tell me they haven't even heard a snowplough. I'd be really suprised if anyone has made it there yet.

Conditions

Unfortunately Allaire gets very little in the way of snowshoe traffic. With this large amount of powdery snow it will be weeks. Last years large snowstorms left Allaire unrideable for a month+. Head north and sample the slopes at some of the Northeasts great ski resorts, now is prime time!

The slopes are probably primo for downhill at ski resorts but I was hoping to take advantage of the free trails.
I remember they didn't plow the lot at Allaire last year for like a week or more so you couldn't even get in the place.

i forgot to take that sheetrock off before the storm, now it is a lump of clay sitting on the parkway...is that bad?

Hey, now that some of you guys have driven down to xc ski, how were the roads leading to the park? My truck is sick and I have the use of a rwd sedan. I'd go down for some snowshoeing if I thought the car could make it there and back.

have not been by the park but most of the roads by me are clear.I would say the lot is still not cleared.
