Dickerson Mine Endurnace Oct 29 2023

I've only done one endurance race but the lap was 4.5 miles, ~28-32 minutes which worked out for a full bottle every other lap.

7-8 mile lap may end up being a bottle 3/4 filled every lap instead.

7-8 miles for a lap seems like ALOT for Dickerson.... @Superfly100guy whats the lap going to be? Martys trail, to white, to blue, to yellow and back?

Good place for an endurance tho IMO...not very technical, no brutal climbs.
I'll have a map up in a week or so. A few awesome new approved trails are included as well. We're pretty much using everything except orange and we're over 7 miles. Working on getting to 8 miles.

I think we're going with the 7 mile loop. The pit zone will be where a few trails come together that way racers/riders will be able to stop every 3-4 miles if needed. The course has no big climbs, 90% single track with just enough tech. Really fun flowy course for beginner to expert. As far as how many laps people will do I'm thinking 2-4.

@UtahJoe @MadisonDan any recommendation on gearing if someone was foolish enough to run a single speed for this event? I've never ridden here so unfamiliar with terrain and trails. thanks in advance.
Hmmm, haven't ridden a single speed since 2017.... Back then I only ran it 2:1 for ssap... 34/17.... This place maybe 18 or 19.... Not sure what the course is exactly but shouldn't be much in terms of steep climbs, and no long road sections where you need 20+mph.
