Creating something that can go near-light-speed, means that you own a weapon that can destroy a planet.
Multiply MxC^2 and you get the amount of energy it would have.

But

Having technology like that means you have a near infinite source of energy, and can probably convert E to M or M to E
at your convenience. Existence is all but guaranteed. There is no need to be a conqueror.
