Drop Bar Hydraulic Disc Brake Adapter Tested at Nationals

I was told by a friend at magura that we may see more of this type of thing in the future. It will be smaller and cleaner.

Are manufacturers going to go right to disc brakes? Or will it be a slow evolution if it happens at all?

Front disc/canti rear looks like it makes sense to me. And a pretty small rotor, relative to what we're used to for mtb applications.

I've been waiting for CX disc brakes for a long time. At this point, you can only find them on utilitarian clunker frames. Bring-em on!

I have to admit, I'm not a big fan of this set-up. A half-cable and half-hydro setup seems excessively complicated. I'd be happy to start with cable-actuated disc brakes.

Manufacturers...put the damn disc mount tabs on the frames!!! 😡

Some bb7's with 140mm rotors would be very nice in cx. Might burn through pads if you race in some mud but it would still be worth it.
With the rule change we will see some decent frames that are disc capable.... maybe...

Pretty sure cdale made them a few years ago

Discs are allowed in all races now. C'Dale stopped offering the frame with discs. None of the big manufacturers have offered them for a few years.

Its coming. The rule change just came out to late for manufactuers to make any adjustments. I am curious to see what we will see. I would be happy with a carbon version of the BB7.

I will agree Ben, although this at home creation was niffty, I am not a fan of the bulk.
